Older IT infrastructure, including workstations and an end-of-life physical server, was becoming unreliable and posed a real challenge for Neogene Paints. Key hardware and software reaching the end of their supported lifespan, coupled with the ever-present risk of ransomware and cyberattacks, highlighted the need for investment in new solutions. Unique technical demands complicated their IT renewal and upgrade process, which required a customised and cost-effective solution.

1. Hardware Upgrades and System Optimisation

  • Modern Hardware Integration: Supplied & Installed HP ProDesk Desktops, ProBook and EliteBook Laptops, customised to Neogene Paints’ operation requirements ensuring processing power and reliability.
  • Server Renewal: Significantly increased server speed and stability by swapping out an outdated physical server with a brand-new HP ProLiant server running Microsoft Windows Server 2022.

  • Robust Data Storage: Integrated a Synology DiskStation NAS system for secure, scalable and efficient data storage solutions for data management and backup process.
